Agreement to these terms
By requesting a quote, booking mobile service, or dropping a vehicle at our shop, you agree to these terms with Stark Brake & Mobile Auto Repair, operated by Jacob Forgus.
Estimates and pricing
Every job starts with a clear estimate before work begins. If a repair uncovers additional problems, we stop and contact you with a revised estimate — no additional work is performed without your approval.
Scheduling and mobile service
Mobile appointments require a safe, legal, reasonably level place to work with access to the vehicle. Weather, parts availability, or unsafe conditions may require rescheduling or moving the job to our shop.
Shop drop-off and storage
Vehicles left with us are kept inside our private, climate-controlled building, closed to the public. Vehicles should be collected promptly once repairs are complete; extended storage may be arranged by agreement.
Towing coordination
When we arrange towing on your behalf, the tow is performed by an independent operator. We coordinate it as a convenience and are not responsible for the tow operator's acts, delays, or charges.
Payment
Payment is due when the repair is completed and the vehicle is returned or released, unless another arrangement is agreed in writing. Payment methods are discussed up front along with the estimate.
Parts and workmanship
Parts carry the warranty offered by their manufacturer or supplier. Workmanship issues should be reported promptly so we can inspect the vehicle; we will make it right where the fault is ours.
Customer-supplied parts
We may install parts you supply at your request, but such parts carry no warranty from us and labor to replace a failed customer-supplied part is billable.
Limitation of liability
Our responsibility is limited to the repair work performed and the amounts paid for it. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost time, lost income, or rental costs.
